Territorial Brewing Company in Springfield

We enjoyed the Big Yellow Truck beer with spaetzle, the Don't Knack-it-Wurst (with bratwurst), the Schnitzel burger, and German potato salad. Everything was delicious. The staff was friendly and service was quick. I enjoyed the historic and German hall ambiance.

Decided to stop in here with a group when we were in town for a conference. I was impressed with their food and beer. I had a flight of beer and the Best of Wurst platter which featured chef's choice of sausage, with a side of spicy mustard and horseradish cream. It was outstanding. The sausage was well spiced, and tasted authentic (German). The sauces were great. Every beer in the flight was top notch as well. The entire group remarked that they enjoyed the meal and service, which was courteous and at regular intervals. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area. Thanks for a great meal!

Great little place, the food is great and they have a special open area to watch the air show with a tent, chairs, music, food and beer! Yeah baby the best place to be.

When visiting from D.C. I was told to stop in and have a brew and some food. I was really excited to find that the food and the brew were both top notch! The servers were great, the beer was tasty, and the food was awesome. I would recommend the schnitzel burger... Delicious.

I’ve always — ALWAYS— been treated well here. It has a great staff and they’ve earned everything they’ve achieved. I can’t say enough good things about them. They deserve all their success. They’re the best brewery in Calhoun County.

The food is different and tastes exactly like i hoped it would - exotic and delicious! The german fries were great and we loved trying the curried ketchup and maple mustard. The atmosphere is like a cozy pub. We will be back soon.

Service was excellent. Very attentive server to our group, didn't matter if you were 6 or 62. He answered all our questions about the food. Refilled drinks, etc. We ordered a variety of items. Favorites were the Patricia, Mac n Cheese, Kale slaw , pretzels and bread pudding. The beer was wonderful.

Had some beer and a sausage sampler enjoyed both, service was great and a nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and will certainly visit again.

A hidden gem. German food! Done well. And, a small, local brewery brewing of all things... lagers! And brewing them very well. I highly recommend going to Territorial Brewing for a very unique brew pub experience.

If your fixing for German food, there aren't that many places to go, but Territorial is one of them. Excellent kolsh, and the "Best of the Wurst" sausage platter was very good. They even have different kinds of mustards. The place looks plain on the outside, but is colorfully decorated on the inside. Cool place.

Our first experience couple years was not good. But changes the owners made were very good. Service was very good the food was unique/traditional. Beet is German style so little different but good.

Delicious beer, decent food at very good prices. Loved it that it was part of a rail trail system too. Good for The Adventurous in biking.

Very fast service on this quiet snowy Saturday, even with college football on. We tried the beer flights to sample all current drafts. Found a couple that we liked. I cannot say that the beer rivals those from bigger breweries, but it's still good and we'd come back again. I'm happy to see a thriving business here in my hometown!

I would DEFINITELY rated zero stars. Food was terrible!!!!! Beers were trash. But the 1 star I will give, is the staff is friendly. GUARANTEE they're out of business in less than 5 years ! Good luck

The beer was good. The food (I had the Best of the Wurst) was extremely good. I would recommend getting the fries loaded. Even though the place was packed, I received excellent service.

My beer was half foam. Ordered a Territorial burger: it was dry with a huge chunk missing from the patty, and the buns were burnt. It came with about 12 small soggy fries.This place is over priced and over hyped. Food was atrocious. Beer was ok, just too much foam.I'm never returning.

It was good food but pricey for the portion size. Very noisy inside!

Good service and good food. Come prepared to really look the the menu because they have many unique dishes. I wished it was a little brighter, but some might appreciate the dark setting.

Love the karaoke!!!! Check your bill to make sure that gratuity isn't added automatically. I'm not sure if this is just because we were there with groups the last time, but I'd been going there for a while and not noticed that on my bill. The service there is usually really great too! The new waitress there may have been having a bad day, because she was very inattentive and rude, but usually a very awesome place to go!

They are known for German inspired lagers. They have a great variety of BOC's. Thank you Charles for the tour!

I went here with some fellow service-members while on a work trip. Our server was just great. And the schnitzel burger...I will have dreams about that tasty thing. Drinks were refreshing and service was prompt. I highly recommend Territorial Brewing Company. On my next trip to Hong Kong, I may detour to this place.

Went for the German food. My food was luke warm at best. I got the pork schnitzel. The breading was good.. two small pork schnitzel on a bed of egg noodles. Most German food places would of served it on spatzle. The mushroom gravy wasnt worth a dollar. Service was okay and given the pandemic guidelines which they were good about.. i will give them another chance on a later date.

Always happy to go there and great service. Offer seasonal beer and if you like light beer deftly go with Kenny Lager. 🍺

Loaded grilled cheese and burgers were really good. Beer was great. Apple tart was a little disappointing. Service was okay. Happened to be there during karaoke which was entertaining

Had an excellent experience at this former golf facility. Both beers were delicious and well made. My mom and wife also enjoyed theirs, but I join them in wishing there was a half-beer option. In retrospect, they may have enjoyed splitting the testing flight.

It turns out this is a German themed brewery. Decent food. Fair prices. Great beer. Great service.

It was a nice brewery with a decent selection of beer. No IPA on tap but that is not their specialty. The food was good we had along with our flights. The black IPL Winter Jammer is a great beer that I think was the best beer on the list. Avenue A Amber is another beer that was good. It is a red ale with some good character. Nice to see a brewery with some good but unique beer.

Very good food.

Beer was decent with traditional and mixed styles. The menu is large and has German options and even a few good vegetarian options as well. The stuffed portobello was good and filling. The potato pancakes were good but more like pancakes (fluffy, flour) than any potato pancakes I've had in Germany or elsewhere. Average prices with good portions. The waitstaff was friendly but service was a bit slow especially to get beer. The atmosphere was okay but a little sterile.If you are in the area and want decent food and beer, come here.
